DBTranslator: translate database tables using machine translation

Using DBTranslator you can translate database tables easily and quickly without any coding (using machine translation). You can use two major machine translation APIs (DeepL or Google Translate).

How it works

You have to enter the table names you want to have translated and the desired target languages. Then you can configure the translation API you want to use (DeepL or Google Translate) and you can start translating the records.

Review of affected database records

You can first check, how many records/bytes have to be translated. After checking, you can start the translation.

Only changed content is translated

DBTranslator stores data that has already been translated and will only re-translate if data has changed.

Flexible configuration

The translations can be stored in a configurable table with relation to the primary key of the source table.

Features

  • Check the number of affected characters before translating
  • flexible configuration of target table/columns
  • use different translation APIs (DeepL or Google Translate)
  • DBTranslator stores translated data and will only retranslate if data has changed.
  • Character-Conversion budget: You can save money by setting a fixed budget of number of characters - DBTranslator will only translate until the budget is reached (calculated per run)
