RDBMS details
Supported database connectors
NotesDB can connect directly to the following RDBMS databases:
- MS Access 2003/2007
- MS SQL Server 2003/2007
- MySQL 4.x/5.x
- PostgreSQL 8.x
- Oracle 8/9/10
- IBM DB/2 Universal database
- any other ODBC-compliant database
We support any RDBMS dialect
NotesDB allows you to export to any RDBMS. NotesDB will automatically create the CREATE TABLE-scripts as well as the INSERT statements to
populate the database.
Unicode datatypes are supported
Of course NotesDB comes Unicode-ready and will export with the character set of your choice.
You can also configure NotesDB to use the Unicode datatypes of your RDBMS automatically (e.g. for Oracle and MS SQL Server NVARCHAR, etc.).
Flexible configuration options
NotesDB allows flexible configuration of further RDBMS.
If the RDBMS you'd like to use is not on the list, please contact us and we'll add its dialect specifics to NotesDB.
